Food Banks rarely have spices. I wanted the people in need to have food with flavor too.

“Food banks rarely have spices… just because someone is in need, doesn’t mean that they should have to eat food with no flavor”.

That’s what I told a friend of mine a few months ago.

It was the holiday season, and I wanted to give back to my community in a way that represented my personal and business values.

Food is a love language.

Food is emotional. When you make a special meal for someone you love, the feeling is the #1 ingredient. After that, the spices add the flavor.

Over 1500 spices were donated in 2020

With the help of 9 local businesses.

I noticed that food banks rarely have spices to help those folks add flavor to their meals. I’m big on making food taste good, and I love giving back to those in need. I combined both into my 1st Annual Spice Drive.

It started with 1 local business, then expanded to 9 local businesses and 2 campaigns. Together we collected over 1500 spices and delivered them to local food banks.

I can’t wait to do it again in Fall 2021!
